Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: May 28 – Vancouver, British Columbia
Nestled amidst stunning natural beauty, Vancouver began as a miners’ saloon en route to the Yukon. Stroll through Gastown’s cobblestone streets, rich with frontier history and vibrant energy. Discover North America’s second-largest Chinatown, then visit Stanley Park, where towering old-growth trees and intricate First Nation totem poles await. For breathtaking views, ascend Grouse Mountain on the skyride or venture across the Capilano Suspension Bridge for an unforgettable treetop adventure.

Day 2: May 29 – Cruising the Inside Passage
Relax and take in the awe-inspiring beauty of the Inside Passage, a serene journey through glacier-carved fjords and rugged coastal landscapes.

Day 3: May 30 – Wrangell, Alaska
One of Alaska’s oldest settlements, Wrangell boasts a rich history shaped by Russian traders, the U.S. military, and the Gold Rush. Explore the nearby Stikine River, a haven for migrating birds and glacial valleys, or visit Anan Falls, where bears gather in the lush rainforest.

Day 4: May 31 – Juneau, Alaska
Gold prospectors Joe Juneau and Richard Harris struck it rich here in 1880, discovering gold nuggets “as large as beans.” Juneau became home to some of the world’s largest gold mines. Today, its breathtaking scenery and natural wonders continue to captivate visitors, as they have since steamship tourism began in the 1880s.

Day 5: June 1 – Skagway, Alaska
This frontier town became the gateway for over 40,000 gold-seekers during the 1897 Klondike Gold Rush. Immerse yourself in Skagway’s lively past by exploring historic downtown, where preserved buildings and costumed locals bring the era to life. Ride the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railway for stunning mountain views, including Bridal Veil Falls and Inspiration Point.

Day 6: June 2 – Sitka, Alaska
Once the heart of Russia’s Alaskan empire, Sitka was known as New Archangel before becoming U.S. territory in 1867. Surrounded by Pacific Ocean vistas, Sitka is renowned for its fishing industry, summer music festivals, and historic landmarks. Its striking natural beauty rivals that of Juneau, especially on clear days.

Day 7: June 3 – Cruising Hubbard Glacier
Marvel at the magnificent Hubbard Glacier as it towers above the icy waters. Keep your camera ready to capture its stunning blue hues and the dramatic sounds of calving ice.

Day 8: June 4 – Anchorage, Alaska
Arrive in Whittier, the gateway to Prince William Sound. Explore serene waters by kayak, embark on a glacier cruise, or delve into the town’s unique history, including its WWII-era origins. The one-way tunnel access adds an extra layer of adventure to this nature and history lover’s paradise.
