Day 1: Portofino, Italy
A scenic trail from Santa Margherita Ligure leads to Portofino, a charming fishing village where pastel-coloured houses cascade down the cliffs to a picturesque harbour.

Day 2: Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Italy
The gateway to Tuscany, Livorno offers access to Florence’s Renaissance masterpieces, Pisa’s iconic Leaning Tower, and the medieval beauty of Siena and San Gimignano. Rolling hills, ancient towns, and artistic treasures define this enchanting region.

Day 3: Cannes, France
Originally a Ligurian settlement, Cannes rose to fame in the 19th century as a retreat for European aristocracy. Today, it is synonymous with luxury, the world-famous film festival, and its sun-drenched coastline.

Day 4: Sanary-sur-Mer, France
A rare working fishing port on the Côte d’Azur, Sanary-sur-Mer exudes old-world charm. Journey inland to Aix-en-Provence, stroll beneath plane-tree-lined boulevards, or savour fresh seafood in the coastal village of Cassis.

Day 5: At Sea
A day to relax and enjoy the ship’s amenities while sailing the Mediterranean.

Day 6: Melilla, Spanish Morocco
A unique blend of Spanish and Moroccan influences, Melilla is known for its well-preserved fortifications, Art Nouveau architecture, and multicultural heritage. The 15th-century Melilla La Vieja fortress overlooks the harbour, offering a glimpse into the town’s colonial past.

Day 7: Málaga, Spain
Often seen as the gateway to the Costa del Sol, Málaga boasts its own treasures, including the 11th-century Alcazaba fortress, the birthplace of Picasso, and a vibrant culinary scene featuring sweet Málaga wines and tapas.

Founded by the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC, Cartagena has been a strategic naval port for centuries. Its historic landmarks include ancient Roman ruins, Moorish fortifications, and a bustling harbour.

Day 12: Mahón, Menorca, Spain
Known for its natural harbour and British-influenced architecture, Mahón offers a glimpse into Menorca’s diverse past. Prehistoric megaliths, Moorish heritage, and Georgian-era buildings make this island a fascinating stop.

Day 13: At Sea
A relaxing day at sea before continuing the adventure.

Day 14: Valletta, Malta
Malta’s capital is a living museum, with its fortified harbour, St. John’s Co-Cathedral, and the historic Grand Master’s Palace. This island has been shaped by centuries of Phoenician, Roman, and British rule.

Day 15: Mgarr (Victoria), Gozo, Malta
